The man who stopped the desert

Watching for the first time this short movie of Yacouba Sawadogo, I couldn’t stop myself to share it with every one whom I can reach to.

It’s a story of hope…

Yacouba Sawadogo is the man of passion, a man who transformed lives of thousands in the Western Africa. The man who stopped the desert…

No matter if he is illiterate. So what if he belongs to the poorest country in the world. He is a peasant but his strength is his love for soil, no matter if it is a barren one. He knows how much this land is precious for the lives of thousands. He didn’t think of himself alone, but his wisdom and love for humanity proves that he can face the challenges.

Don’t miss to watch the story of Yacouba Sawadogo: http://sfgreen.slated.com/2011/films/themanwhostoppedthedesert
