Add Your Special Word of Thanks to Al Gore!

Add your special words of thanks to Al Gore for his years’ long struggle to fight climate crisis and his wonderful contribution in making the Paris Agreement in COP 21 a reality.
Add your word of thanks HERE. We will send all the collective responses to Al Gore with the start of New Year 2016!
Al Gore, the Nobel Laureate and a great climate campaigner, dedicated his utmost efforts to motivate grass root communities, businesses and world leadership act on climate change. His tireless efforts made hundreds of thousands citizens from different parts of the world understand the reality of climate crisis and demand their leaders to protect the only Planet Earth from human induced climate change, reject denials and accept the long lasting solutions like clean and renewable energies.

Al Gore’s profound wisdom and passion to solve climate crisis largely contributed to the historical Paris Agreement where world leadership adopted a new global pact to fight climate change. This is the time we as concerned citizens of this Planet Earth express our sincere gratitude and word of thanks to Al Gore for what he did for us all at present and for our future generation!

  2. If Mr Gore had not already been given the Nobel Peace Prize, I would be forming a petition to make sure that he did win it. The forces opposing him when he began his work were enormous: well funded and entirely unscrupulous, the fossil fuel lobby has fought and fought, using fair means and foul. Mr Gore should have been the US President but fate set that aside so that he could do something even more important. I was trained by him to speak about climate change and my green badge from that training is one of my most prized possessions. Thank you, Al - you are a genuine hero.

  4. Dear VP Gore,

When I think of what you have done for the climate movement and I try to find the words to describe my appreciation, I am in awe for what you have done.

When I saw An Inconvenient Truth in 2006, I stood up in the cinema and applauded at the end, and turned to the audience and said, "Finally! We need to act."

In 2007, when I heard the conclusions of the IPCC report, I was 40 years old and pregnant. Terrifying images of war and rape flashed through my mind. My life changed forever when I promised that little girl inside of me I was going to do whatever I could to make her world safe when she was 40.

When I was trained by you and your incredible team in Montreal in 2008, my take home message was, "the politicians need our help".

When it become obvious to me that Canada had truly entered the Dark Ages for climate action in 2009 (Copenhagen and undemocratic follies of Bill C 311 in Canada), I was grateful to have been trained by you. I had front row seats the greatest show on Earth - watching humanity respond to the climate crisis. It was messy, and excruciating to watch at times (oh those Koch Brothers), but there was always progress.

As National Manager of Citizens' Climate Lobby CCL) in Canada, I want you to know that without you, our organization in Canada probably would not exist. Marshall Saunders, our founder and president, was trained by you in 2007. I was trained by you in 2008. I met Marshall in 2010 and brought CCL to Canada . A fair chunk of the leadership within our organization was trained by you too.

I have no doubts that climate change is and will cause wars.

The first rule of a warrior is to prevent war.

You are the five star general in the battle to save all life.

The battle is not over. We still need to cross a few treacherous rivers.

The Climate Reality diaspora connects us and we are too connected to fail.

I wish you happy and prosperous 2016 and beyond.

    Asalam ‘alaykum

  5. Dear Vice President Gore, My personal note of thanks for your amazing leadership and for initiating the Climate Reality Project. As one of your early trained leaders, I have found working with you and the TCRP team a continuing source of hope and encouragement. The accord reached in Paris is far from what we really need, but it is a significant turning point, and as history will no doubt record, it is the beginning of the end of the fossil fuel era. I can add that through my active participation in TCRP, my granddaughter knows of your efforts and adores you (I'm just Grandpa, you are her "hero man"). Well done Al. BTW, my wife still has your photo on our fridge door!! Me? I just bring home the food.....

  7. Mr. Gore is an inspiration. He was advocating climate action long before it was fashionable and continues to do so even though it has become cliche.

  8. Really appreciate Mr. Gore's work and how he has been a major communicator, spreading the awareness among the general public. Academically trained as a business/marketing professional I have ended up working in the field of environment. His books have an important role in this transition.
